Hi Fab Five
I cannot believe that being off line for one week, I would miss so much! OK over the past week I have helped select and register 20 soccer teams - which is my excuse and I am sticking to it. I am so sorry for not being part of what has been a crux week for many of us.
Firstly to Leonor - We truly are the lucky country having you join us. What an inspiring friend and runner you are! p.s. a great runner too!
Paula - You are the heart and soul of the Fab 5. Don't you dare give up girl! I'm only saying that because I know you won't. I must admit after Smithfield I went home and told my husband, I just didn't think I could make 42 km. He laughed, gave me a hug and said "of course you can". We all can! This is a lifetime ambition for me and it is only knowing that all the Fab 5 (plus honoury members i.e. males are going through the same challenge that gets me up for the next morning run.
Denise - Our spiritual leader who has been there before. We all value your little pearls of wisdom and enduring positive attitude.
Margaret - You will cross that finish line with a smile and say "I told you I'd make it no matter what". Your determination and desire to "do it" helps me keep going too.
Honoury Males - Bruce, Pete and John - I have included Pete & John (i am sure there are many more), who have been running with Leonor and I. Thanks for keeping us girls honest and all the encouragement.
And of course our esteemed leader Phil - A great run in the Equaliser. Well Done! Phil has showed us all that we can overcome injury and minor/major setbacks. Thanks for all the support, education and inspiration.
Looking forward to running together next w/end

Thanks Sharyn for all your kind words, I feel very touched and I'm so happy to have met such wonderful people like you all - Fab Five, Friends and Leader.
Go the Fab Five for a great running week :)
I thought you'de been quiet. Glad to hear the non rebel run went well too.
Has anyone worked out the time differential on these blogs?
