SMH Half Meeting Spot

Paula's suggestion of meeting at 7am at Museum Station (corner Liverpool & Elizabeth Streets) is a great one.

Ted - it's great you can come & be one of our suppporters - thanks!

For those with a bit of time afterwards, breakfast could be nice...(last year I remember very green hard apples were provided at the end of the half..not our usual Striders fare).

Isn't it nice we can do a half and think of it as a little run!

It wasn't actually my idea to meet there (I don't think). But it IS a good idea so kudos to whomever did suggest and is too polite to point that out.

I will meet you all there too.
Is anyone driving in? If so, where are you parking? Or perhaps more importantly, where do we reckon we'll head for breackfast?

Husband has been in Melborne this week (per usual) but it's been a cr^appy week with all sorts of dilemmas - can fill you all in over the rolling hills of the CBD. Tom is out to a mate's place Sat nite to watch Super 14 Saturday night. So I'm on for a big chunk of "Paula Time" come Sunday.
That's my (as always) long way of saying count me in for the post-run breakfast.

Sorry for disjointed blogging on my part - am typing on the kid's pc which is on a small ikea table and I'm sitting on a small kiddy chair. Reason for this? One of the MANY dilemmas of the week!
But hey I'm in Sydney and not china or Burma. So I AM HAPPY! :-)

See you all Sunday.
BTW, I don't plan to set the world on fire with my run on Sunday. 1 * 10km each week since Canberra isn't the perfect preparation. At least all my niggles have gone.

hhmm maybe the meeting place and time was my idea (damn it is a good one!).

Haven't thought of anywhere for breakfast, maybe the Quay?

Thinking about breakfast, does anyone know Bill and Toni's? It's in Stanley St just down the hill from the Museum and has the best coffee, and they do a good breakfast...and it's a very short walk from the finish. but i'm happy to eat anywhere!
I have a feeling it may be a bit of a slow one for me too, I'm still stiff after running around Ball's Head with Denise on Tuesday. How is it that you can train for a marathon and still end up suffering after a little mid-week run? Live and learn!
