This is the side of my bed before the Marathon ...

Go orange balloon strider!

When you pulled up injured after that 30k run, and were clearly having trouble, and it was always going to be tough for you to recover sufficiently in time to complete the Canberra Marathon, some would have thought it was an impossible come back.

But you did it anyway.

Go Leonor.

Ahh poor Peter (Leonor's husband) - looses wife to running (can cope with this) , looses wife to a little orange balloon man.....

That looks like a good place to hang a well-earned medal!

Where's the medal???

Leonor - your mental toughness throughout the entire programme, especially through injury and a race that saw you alone for the hardest part, is the most inspiring story of all.
It's how we cope with adversity that shows our true mettle. You've certainly proven that you're made of the right stuff!

Can't wait to see what you do next with your running.

Oh! It really was lovely to meet your family. I only really got to chat to Tallisa (spelling??) - a very impressive young lady. You should be really proud of her too.
