After review of many of the marathon pics (offical and those taken by my husband Tom) I have come to the conclusion that Phil is the smiling assassin. He claims he was hurting but not once does he appear in pain. A perfect smile is always in place.
Phil - were you a model/air hostess in a former life???

Yes, you caught me out Paula - I was a model in a previous life.
I have run enough marathons to know that some of those photos can be REALLY bad! So when you see a camera on the course.... smile! :)
