These are the the opening words of a rock 'n' roll song that used to be a favorite of mine in my younger unruly days;
I want to thank you all for the true camaraderie that you shared with me in the lead up to last sunday ; it was a privilege to be part of the group and I am personally proud of your achievements.
I hope that you all will long remember it as a milestone along life's tortuous track.
I look forward to reliving it with you sometime in the not to distant future

Ted, you're most welcome, you're such a friend and a wonderful companion. All your advice and just to have you with us - you gave me much strength. Thank you for everything. I feel very special to have met such wonderful people - Australia is the best!!!

Hey Ted
It's Thursday and I'm still enjoying a runner's high! I think our group worked together really well over the course of training and the big day, I feel really lucky to have had the opportunity to get through my first marathon in such great company.
I thought of you Ted on Tuesday folding yourself into a plane seat..I think I would have had to stand all the way to Europe!
We will relive it all, at the Awards Dinner on the 23rd, should be a good night.
