Can I finally mention the weather?

The latest Marathon email from Canberra has said that the forecast for Sunday is sunny and 21 degrees. I checked online and it says 22 with a chance of a late shower. Bit too early to know for sure, but the lows are forecast at 7 deg, which means we need to rug up in the morning.
Fingers crossed, but I don't think a bit of rain is going to stop us now!

Wow, I thought after last weeks blogging taper that not much would be happening here. Was I ever wrong.

Glad to hear you are all up-beat and ready to go.

I had the same fond feelings on Sunday that Leonor had. That was my first STaR too and it brought back great memories of a new journey started.

I'm also a bit nervous about the distance, but we'll just follow the MTG's own pipe piper and we'll be all right as we always are - rain or no rain.

I'm taking extra strength echanacia to ward off all the coughing around me.

I've just read the sheet and realised that I don't eat too much, I just carb load every week.

I may not make the pep talk but I intend to be there for the Striders "its not a splinter pasta party its just a party with pasta" dinner Saturday night. [Phil may need to explain that one.]

See you all soon.

Just remember, this ones for the Gippa!

Ah, there you're Bruce! Good to hear you're well. And yes Bruce, we are all very busy blogging away and sharing our 'running' thoughts.

Phil - rain hail or shine - we will all happily run our first Marathon.

Bring it on! We are all up and ready to go :)

Margaret, I might pack my bag even tonight (just in case)

Good night all
