Team, it's good to see evidence of correct preparation - bags packed and muffins consumed. Going slightly "pink" phobic as I try not to let my work colleagues see my screen while I surf the pink blog all day!
Nice pic Paula - your husband probably thinks that taper madness has well and truly set in.
Here's the last To-Do list and I'll see you all tomorrow at 2pm at Manuka!
* Sleep well tonight. And don't worry if you don't sleep well tomorrow night. No-one will. Waste of a good hotel room really.
* Forecast is 9deg low and 19deg high with shower or two (late showers Saturday), so:
- bring the garbage bag in case of rain Sunday morning
- don't get your shoes too wet on Saturday if you decide to run in the rain
* Keep carb-loading (yes, I know you feel stuffed. I've put on a kilo already!)
I know that we haven't trained much in the rain over summer as a group, but I'm sure you all ran in rain during January and that bad weather patch. But don't worry too much - your shoes will only become waterlogged if it is REALLY raining hard, or you are running through puddles. Otherwise you shoes should be fine and you don't need to do anything different. It will only make us all a little more crazy anyway...
Only two more sleeps. I KNOW you guys are ready for this!!
Phil

Sharyn and I are in Canberra - its beautiful.
As I drove down Parkes Way I saw the sign "Westbound Closed Sunday" You come to see Parliament House, look at the Lake, past the Gallery and of course the roads are closed..must be something happening here...
ps Phil let us know what your company does - networking, networking really..
Some of my best friends are carbohydrates too. Always there when you need them for a boost, just like the fab five and friends.
I've finished my work, and my case settled. So no work Saturday and no conferences Sunday afternoon!
Now I'm excited.
The feet are starting to tap and jiggle, I can see the light and I can feel the Vibe.
Give me a muffin - I need to carb load.
I'm not worried about the weather. Canberra may give us rain, but we'll be running on Sunshine, yeah yeah, and wont if feel good.
Trying to bring my flight forward to get to the pep talk.
See you all tomorrow!
Can't wait to meet up with all you guys tomorrow. Going to do a VERY VERY light jog of NO MORE than 3Ks tomorrow morning, as I feel like a VERY VERY fat bloke and I hate it.
Sleep well everyone and spot you all tomorrow.
Lee :o)
