Ouch again..

26.2 kms - we are good!

Big thanks to Paula, Margaret and Bruce for chatting to me ..kept my mind occupied while my legs were saying we haven't done this for a while! It was lovely to run in our wonderful city - what a great way of seeing new views.

I mentioned last year that I think it would be great if we offer to host one of the sTar runs (post Marathon). I imagine the calender will be put together soon. I was thinking May (not Mothers Day...) let me know what you all think and happy running this week.

Just wondering who is running 25 or 30 on Sunday? Margaret and I are thinking 25 and I think Sharyn is going 30...

Yes I am doing 30 - if there are others keen too. Happy to help host star in May.

Hosting the star in may sounds like fun...maybe we can all wear our Canberra Marathon 2008 commemorative t-shirts!

May sounds great. And I will definitely wear my Canberra Marathon T. Is it time to start the positive affirmations???

OH Denise - it was my pleasure to talk you through a few km's. You know I'm always happy to oblige with a few monologues about me and the minutae of my life!

Thanks for the blog invite Paula. I feel like I've been invited to join the Spice Girls plus 1. Always happy to chat Denise. Mostly people are trying to stop me. I'de be happy to be co-co-co-co-co-co host of an MTG Star STAR around May. I'm going to run the 30km tomorrow. The way I see it, we were closing on 27km last week, which is not far off 30 anyway, so why not. See you tomorrow!

And I am so sure the Spice Girls needed a manager - so Bruce its your job to ensure our appearance fee at the Canberra Marathon.

Just to mention I am going to run the Canberra Marathon route on Sunday March 8 if anyone else is down that way and wants to chat!

Glad to see Margaret and I will be in fine form for next week's 30 - we did an exact 28 ks today (having made a little detour along the way)
