OUCH

Here's a pic from the 25km we did at Hornsby on Sunday 27 January.

Wow was that hard work for me. Thank goodness we got lost around the 14km mark and and had to make up the rest of the run on the road. This was my longest run EVER and boy are the quads complaining about it today.

Another 10km tomorrow and then 14km on Wednesday. uuuuuugggggghhhhhhhhh!! Oh well... that will give me plenty of time on the treadmill to do the mental calculations of how many calories I've burnt and so how many TNCC snakes I can eat!

And now here's Denise in London.......

This Sunday

Hi girls
I was wanting to know if any of you will be doing the Striders run this Sunday am. I think it's meant to be a flat one...at last. I missed last week as I've had one of the kids very restless at night with an allergy to something. Did manage a 20k locally later in the day though. Hope everyone is going well.

Hi All,
It's Sharyn. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday at Dee Why. I've pleasingly been able to stick to the program over the holiday period. I ran with Phil at Centennial Park and than last weekend did 22km from Glwondalon (Lake Macquarie) to Swansea. Ended with a nice dip in the ocean at Caves Beach. Looking forward to getting back into home routine but enjoyed inventing new runs on hols for the last 3 weeks.

I'm posting this snap for Denise. (uploading a pic to the blog site from a blackberry would cost way too many Euros for the poor thing).
How cool is this snap? I really love that she is sporting the club colours!
Denise I'm sure will happily oblige us all with all the wonderful details during her first STaR back.
I personally will see any available MTGers at Harbourside Hike.

Back (again)

Hi girls. How did the training go over Xmas. Denise, I apologise for not showing up to the last run before the break (long story - worth telling over a 25km run!).
I am back on the road and will be there Sunday morning for a run around Centennial Park. Hope to see you all there and that you all had a great Chrissie break.
